Monday, August 1 marks the feast day of Saint Alphonsus Liguori. Here is a brief look at ways in which we will honor our patron saint and pray for his intercession. Saint Alphonsus Liguori, pray for us!

2nd Annual National Blessing for Arthritis Sufferers
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31, 2011

Started by the Redemptorists Denver Province, this occasion is a joined effort throughout parishes when we will be invoking St. Alphonsus Liguori, founder of the Redemptorists and patron saint of those who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and other physical ailments.

A special blessing will be offered after all weekend Masses along with prayer cards that will be available to take home. Please encourage friends and neighbors to come and receive this blessing!

Join your parish family for a special presentation on the spirituality of Saint Alphonsus Liguori presented by Father O'Keeffe on Monday, August 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Refreshments and beverages will follow the presentation. The event is sponsored by the Liturgy Committee for Ordinary Time. We hope to see you there as we dive in to learn more about our patron saint!
