We have celebrated All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day and there’s so much more still to come this month that you won’t want to miss! Catholic Faith Inquiry Night - Wednesday, November 2, 6 p.m.
Join others in the reception room, just inside the main church doors, for a casual evening about the Catholic faith. This is an opportunity to ask questions about The Church, its teachings, sacraments, or any other topical issues. Email email@example.com to RSVP and receive event details.
First Friday Adoration - Friday, November 4
Adoration will be available in the Day Chapel beginning around 9:30 a.m. and continuing until just before the Saturday morning Mass at 7:30 a.m. Spend time with Jesus in the chapel.
Tribute for Veterans - weekend of November 4-6
See a special "Wall of Honor" in the narthex. The wall is an annual display that honors parishioners and relatives who have served in the U.S. military.
Caring Center Food Drive - weekend of November 5-6
Remember to leave your food filled Outreach Committee bags near your car prior to Mass for the parish food drive that will support the needs of the Caring Center. If it's raining, please bring bags into the narthex for volunteers to collect.
Pancake Breakfast - Sunday, November 6, after 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Mass
Youth Ministry invites you to join them for a pancake breakfast. Donations will help offset the cost of admission to the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC). See you after Mass!.
New Roman Missal Workshop - Sunday, November 6, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
If you missed the Parish Liturgy Retreat, this may be your final opportunity to learn more about the new Mass translations for the 3rd Edition of the Roman Missal. Refreshments will be served.
Mary’s WAY - Thursday, November 10, 6:30 p.m.
WINGS is hosting its annual Mary’s WAY which includes a fabulous meal and recitation of the Holy Rosary. The guest speaker for the evening is writer and journalist, Anne Ryder. Admission is $12; RSVP by Monday, November 7 to Martine Clyne, 873-3611.
Parish Day of Reflection: “Why Be Catholic?” - Saturday, November 12
Patrick Madrid will be our guest speaker for this day of reflection and renewal. The day starts with Mass at 7:30 a.m. and will conclude by 3:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided in Weitzel Hall and presentations will take place in the church, beginning at 9 a.m. This awesome event is FREE and open to the public; registration is required and can be completed here.
Turkey Bingo - Saturday, November 12, 6:30 p.m.
The Knights of Columbus will host its 11th annual Turkey Bingo night in Parish Hall. What a fun-filled evening to spend with family and friends! Food and beverages will be available to purchase, and just $5 buys bingo games for the whole evening.
Olivewood Sale - Saturday and Sunday, November 12/13, after all Masses
Beautiful handmade olivewood items from the Holy Land will be available for purchase after all Masses, so plan ahead! These make wonderful gifts, with proceeds going to support Christian families in Bethlehem.
National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) - Wednesday, November 16 - Sunday, November 20
Saint Alphonsus youth and adult chaperones will be deepening their faith and growing closer to God during this bi-yearly event which is being held in Indianapolis!
Reconciliation Retreat - Saturday, November 19
About 90 reconciliation candidates will gather for a morning retreat. A talk from Father O’Keeffe and several other activities will help prepare these second grade students for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Youth Ministry Event - Sunday, November 20
In lieu of regular group meetings this Sunday, all high school and middle school youth and their families will come together for an awesome evening of praise and worship starting with 5 p.m. Mass. The event will include entertainment by the Christian band, Popple, nationally acclaimed speaker, Mike Patin and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
