With only one week left in September, it's hard to think that October is so close from now. As the autumn season has officially kicked off, we realized that there is so much happening in October, that we had to share a small preview now.

Men's Christ Renews His Parish Weekend - October 1 - 2 on campus
Men parishioners are invited to experience this overnight spiritual retreat designed to ignite spiritual growth while kindling friendships with fellow parishioners. To sign up and attend, visit ZionsvilleCatholic.com/crhp.
Parish Liturgy Retreat - Thursday, October 6 and 13
The Parish Liturgy Retreat will continue with the final two sessions that will focus on introducing the new Mass translations for the 3rd Edition of the Roman Missal. Join us from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Refreshments will be served.
Changes in Daily Mass - October 4 to 7 (Tuesday - Friday)
The regularly scheduled Masses on these days will instead feature the Office of Readings and Morning Prayer. Regular Mass schedules will resume on October 8.
Catholic Faith Inquiry Night - Wednesday, October 5 at 6 p.m.
Join others in the reception room, just inside the main church doors, for a casual evening about the Catholic faith. This events invites others to ask questions about The Church, teachings, sacraments, or whatever else is on their hearts. Email [email protected] to RSVP and receive event details.
First Friday Adoration - Friday, October 7
Adoration will be available in the Day Chapel beginning around 9:30 a.m. and continuing until just before the Saturday morning Mass at 7:30 a.m. the following day. Spend time with Jesus in the chapel.
Pumpkin fest - Saturday, October 8, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Celebrate autumn with family and friends of all ages. Enjoy face painting, pumpkin decorating, hay rides, food and more. Admission is free and the event will take place in the sports field. This event is presented by the Knights of Columbus.
Oktoberfest - Saturday, October 8, 6 p.m. to midnight
This event for adults (ages 21 and older) will feature festive foods, live music, local brews and Haiti raffle drawing. All event proceeds will benefit local charities. Admission is $5 at the door, or free with purchase of a Haiti raffle ticket. Food and beverages cost extra. This event is presented by the Knights of Columbus. Learn more about the Haiti Raffle
Medical Supply drive for Haiti - October 8 & 9
Daughters of the Immaculata will be holding a supply drive following Masses to collect items for the Haiti Medical Team for use on their first mission trip to the town of Croix Fer where our Twin Parish, St. Anthony of Padua, is located. Items to donate are listed in the bulletin, or parishioners may call the parish office at 317.873.2885 to learn more.
YOUTH Ministry, PKP Service Trip - Saturday, October 8
These Saturday trips are a great opportunity for our new Confirmation candidates to serve within the community and will be completed by 1 p.m. each time. One of the two trips are required.
Anointing of the Sick Service - Sunday, October 9
For those wanting to receive an anointing of the sick with blessed oils, a special service will be available at 9:15 a.m. This will take place between the 8 and 10:30 a.m. Masses. The service is not a Mass and does not fulfill a Sunday obligation.
RCIA Rite of Welcome - Sunday, October 9 at 8 a.m. Mass
Welcome to our soon-to-be newest members of The Church, as our RCIA candidates attend Mass and begin their journey of learning the faith, and being welcomed into The Church at next year's Easter Vigil.

Building Presentations - October 15 & 16
All parishioners are welcome to view a special presentation about coming renovations to our campus meeting buildings. A process that began with announcements a little more than a year ago, has grown to offer additional meeting space, more RE classrooms, upgraded technologies and more. Presentations will follow Masses. Times and locations will be announced in a special parish invitation.
40 Hours Celebration - Sunday, October 16 to Tuesday, October 18
Join the parish in a 40 hour celebration of the Eucharist. Following the 5 p.m. Mass on Sunday, the parish will hold vigil with adoration in the Day Chapel for 40 hours or until right before Mass on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. In addition to adoration there will be a Eucharistic Procession, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Morning prayer, talks by guest priest Father Jonathan Meyer from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and so much more.
WINGS Annual Rummage Sale - October 21 & 22
WINGS women's group will be holding their annual rummage sale. Come peruse through items that will be up for sale in Weitzel Hall.
