"Saying thank you is not enough for all you gave." - Homeowners of the newly finished 'Apostles Build' housing project.
This summer members from Saint Alphonsus Liguori as well as other surrounding churches teamed up to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Boone County by participating in the "2011 Apostles Build."
The project was supported through collections for building costs and teams of hard working volunteers - both responsibilities shared among the "Apostle churches" that participated. Additional material donations were also provided by local companies. In the end, volunteers completed the new home in Fayette, Ind. The project started mid-May and final landscaping details were completed on August 27.
Congratulations to all who worked on the project and a special thank you to the parishioners of St. Alphonsus Liguori who supported the project through individual donations.
