If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are few people who understand the deep hurt you feel. It may be hard to be optimistic about the future. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
GriefShare groups meet each week to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. They include video seminars with experts, support group discussions, personal study and reflection.
Some of the topics are:
Is This Normal?
Challenges of Grief
Grief and Your Relationships
Guilt and Anger
Heaven
The group is led by Veronica Gibbs, MS, NCC, CCDVC, LMHC, LCSW, BCPC, Laurie Goggins, MSW, PhD, JD and Maria Holmes, MSW. Join them in
Weitzel Hall, Room F from 7:00-8:30 p.m. every Thursday, beginning September 7.
The cost is $25 per person for materials. If the cost of the materials or transportation is a problem, please contact Veronica Gibbs.
