First Friday Adoration - Friday, February 1 in the Day Chapel
Adoration will be available in the Day Chapel following 9 a.m. Mass and continuing until just before the Saturday morning Mass at 7:30 a.m. Spend time with Jesus in the chapel.
Healing Service - Saturday, February 2 in the church
A healing service will take place at 7 p.m. inside the church. All are welcome (even non-Catholics). A service may include: Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, confessions, Liturgy of the Word with homily, blessing for the sick and Sacrament of Holy Anointing for those seriously ill, Eucharistic benediction, and opportunity for private prayer.
Catholic Faith Inquiry Night- Wednesday, February 6 in Reception Room
Faith Formation programming at the parish invites all those discerning the Catholic Faith to attend a friendly and casual Q&A session. This is also a great opportunity to bring a friend who may have been asking you questions about being Catholic. Parish Mardi Gras Party- Saturday, February 9 at Parish Hall
Come dance the night away to live music by special guest artists, enjoy appetizers and desserts, while sipping on beer and wine in the company of other parishioners. Confirmation Sponsor Luncheon- Sunday, February 10 at Parish Hall
Our parish's second year Confirmation students will be enjoying a warm meal with their sponsors as they prepare for the final months before receiving this sacrament. The event will begin at 12 p.m.
Ash Wednesday [Lent Begins]- Wednesday, February 13
Prepare yourself for the celebration of Lent as Catholics across the globe fast, seek reconciliation and spend time in prayer. Ash Wednesday Masses will be at 6:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Poor Man's Supper - Wednesday, February 13 in Parish Hall Join families at the parish for a simple warm meal following the 5 p.m. Ash Wednesday Mass. "Poor Man's Supper" is a traditional dinner at St. Alphonsus Liguori that includes simple soups and sandwiches perfect for the first day of a Lenten fast. The meal will be served at between 5:30 and 7 p.m.
40 Days for Life - February 13 to March 24
Our Blessed Mother calls us to pray the rosary. What better opportunity than during this spring’s 40 Days for Life Campaign. Our parish prayer time is 3 - 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoons, in front of Planned Parenthood located at 8590 Georgetown Road in Indianapolis. Lenten Eucharistic Adoration - Fridays during Lent
Spend time with the Blessed Sacrament as we begin and continue our journey through Lent. Adoration will be available in the Day Chapel following 9 a.m. Mass each Friday until Easter. The Eucharist will be exposed until the evening when the monstrance will be moved to the church for Stations of the Cross. Following stations the monstrance will return to the chapel until the following Saturday morning Mass at 7:30 a.m. Sign up to commit to an hour or half hour with Jesus. Signup sheets are in the narthex.
Stations of the Cross - Fridays during Lent, 6 p.m. in the church
Throughout Lent, St. Alphonsus Liguori families come together each Friday evening to meditate on and pray the Stations of the Cross with the Holy Eucharist. Guide books with prayers are available for those attending. This is a wonderful way to add additional prayer to your Lenten celebration.
Knights of Columbus Fish Fry Dinners - every Friday during Lent in Parish Hall
Get ready and get hungry, the Knights are back with chefs hats and batter ready! Join them each Friday during Lent for a menu of fish, shrimp, spaghetti and other yummy treats. Not only are fish dinners a long standing tradition with parishes across the globe, they are a great way to meet others and share in conversations. Dinner service is from 5 to 8 p.m. All proceeds support Knights of Columbus charities.
Destination Jesus - Friday, February 15 to Sunday, February 17 at Guerin Catholic High School
Parish high school youth along with students from across the state will come together for a spiritual retreat that is filled with Eucharistic adoration, group activities, music, prayer, Mass and Reconciliation. Learn more
Coffee & Donuts - Sunday, February 17 after morning Masses

Parish Mission - Sunday, February 17 to Tuesday, February 19
Every year in Lent families gather for the Parish Mission. The mission features three evenings of inspiring talks by a special guest speaker followed up with fellowship and refreshments in the Parish Hall.
