You're invited - Special Rose Procession
Each year in celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the parish honors our Blessed Mother with a mother & daughter rose procession before Mass. Individuals will set roses at the feet of the Blessed Mother statue, that will be positioned in front of the altar.
Please consider signing up with your daughter/mother to carry flowers in this procession at either Mass on December 7 at 7:10 p.m. or the Feast Day Mass on December 8 at 7 p.m. Mothers and daughters of all ages are welcome to participate. If you are interested, please email Amy Wagner by December 5 at email@example.com. Flowers will be provided and participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of Mass.
Prayer for the Immaculate Conception
The image of the Virgin is found in your Church.
Mary had a faith that your Spirit prepared and a love that never knew sin,
for you kept her sinless from the first moment of her conception.
Trace in our actions the lines of her love, in our hearts her readiness of faith.
Prepare once again a world for your Son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
