"The arguments from the Bible that are so often raised against the Catholic Church don't hold water. And the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn." - Patrick Madrid on EWTN Bookmark
Catholic author and radio personality, Patrick Madrid, will visit Saint Alphonsus Liguori on Saturday, November 12 for a seminar focused around strength and renewal. The event, entitled a Day of Reflection: "Why Be Catholic?" will provide four informative presentations showing how the Bible, current events and Christian history can answer common questions about the Catholic Church, its teachings and practices. Register for free at the bottom of this article.
The day's schedule starts with Mass at 7:30 a.m. and concludes by 3:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided in Weitzel Hall for guests. Presentations will take place in the church with the first one starting at 9 a.m. Admission is free and open to the public; however, a registration is required and can be completed at the bottom of this page.
