Here is a way to make BIG plans on Saturday, October 5 with family, friends and neighbors. Join us as the Knights of Columbus bring in the Fall fun with their 4th annual Pumpkin Fest and Oktoberfest celebrations. It is all happening at St. Alphonsus Liguori. Details are below.
Family Pumpkin Fest
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Athletic Field & parking lot
(across the street from Weitzel hall)
Here's a perfect Fall day event for the entire family to enjoy. Jump on a hayride and venture out to pick your perfect pumpkin. Then head back to have your face painted while decorating your new pumpkin. Food and snacks as well as a children's raffle are available. No worries, this event is FREE to attend or leave a donation. Also, look for an official drop off location for the St. Alphonsus "Share the Warmth" coat and blanket drive.Oktoberfest
6:30 p.m. to midnight in the Parish Parking Lot
Visit the BIG white tent for authentic German Food, Bier, and festive music by the fabulous Alpine Express. There will be contests and a raffle drawing for prizes of $1,500, $500 and $250. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend. All net proceeds will benefit the Caring Center, Zionsville Food Pantry and the Knights of Columbus charity fund.
Purchase raffle tickets early following Masses starting September 14/15. $10 a ticket or 3 for $25.
