A Parish Choir CD

There's some excitement brewing at the parish as we near the end of another year. Following planning and preparation that commenced back in January, the parish choir, Singing Servants, have released their first-ever audio CD. Learn more about the CD here, and then tune back next Friday to get a behind-the-scenes look at the recording and creation of the album while learning more about the people who shared their talents to make it all happen.

This new album titled, Songs of the Seasons, features 16 amazing tracks with music arrangements used for many liturgical celebrations throughout the year. Many selections may even be considered parish favorites, as they are familiar tunes parishioners have joined in and sang to at several Masses. A complete list of all song titles can be found below.

In every piece of the project, echos of our parish home are found. From songs you may have prayerfully meditated to at one time while in Mass to the album cover's artwork that features panes from the large stained glass windows inside our very church. Tying this all together, is the subtle fact of knowing that even the recording took place inside the walls of the church. Special equipment was brought in by a professional audio technician to capture the choir's beautiful voices inside the church where they, and we, raise our voices to the Lord.

Song of the Seasons will be available for parishioners as well as friends and families to bring home and enjoy with others, while commuting to work or when taking a moment to just relax and reflect.

Bring home one of your own
A small donation of $15 per CD is asked when selecting your disc to take home. Donations from the CD project will go toward the support of a parish hymnal that will offer more great musical selections we all will be able to enjoy. CDs will be available following Masses beginning on Christmas Eve.

These CDs may even make great gifts for others just in time for the Christmas season that we will begin celebrating starting with the Nativity of the Lord on December 25.
