What is NCYC?
NCYC is the National Catholic Youth Conference! Teens from all over the country come together to experience Christ in Word, Sacrament, and each other! Throughout the weekend teens will all attend several impactful keynote speakers, but they will also have the opportunity for breakout sessions, workshops, concerts, and more!
Who can go to NCYC?
NCYC is for 9-12 grade students (in the 2021-2022 school year).
How much does the trip cost?
The total cost of the trip is $300 per teen. $50 is due upon registration and the remaining cost after fundraising will be due in October. Please see below for fundraising opportunities.
*We never want finances to be the reason a teen does not attend an event. If you need financial assistance, please contact the Parish Office*
Will there be fundraising?
Yes, we plan to have two fundraisers: A car wash in August and our M&M fundraiser in September/October. In order for students to get credit for either fundraiser they (or a parent) must participate. Students who do not participate will not get a share of the money earned in the fundraiser.
Will you be staying overnight in Indianapolis?
This year, due to Covid, we will return home each evening. We have arranged busses to transport the teens and chaperones to and from the conference each day.
What will my teen do to prepare for this experience?
Teens are expected to attend the three formation sessions leading up to NCYC to prepare their minds and hearts for what they will experience over the weekend. These meetings are
7 pm - 8:15 pm on the following days:
August 29
September 12
October 24
