Liturgical planning teams prepare, arrange and maintain elements of the church during ordinary time other specific seasons throughout the year. This ministry brings awareness to times in the liturgical calendar by focusing on details that highlight and embody the liturgy. Choose from a seasonal service or an ongoing one and consider making a personal contribution to our parish family by volunteering to assist a team.

Continuous Liturgical Planning Teams
Art and Environment team uses liturgical materials to prepare and organize the elements of church decor for all of our liturgical seasons and special celebrations. From candles, to flowers, to altar cloths and vestments; this team enhances all the senses of the Body of Christ bringing forth beautiful, meaningful worship.
Funeral Liturgical Planning team meets with families who have just lost a loved one to plan their funeral liturgy. From the readings, to the hymns, to the luncheon; this team provides liturgical guidance and support to help grieving families plan and commemorate the life of one of God’s children.
Parish Liturgical Education team prepares and organizes liturgical information for the benefit of parishioners. From liturgical educational workshops, to guest speakers, to special bulletin inserts; this team enriches the Body of Christ through catechesis of liturgical doctrines.
Polish and Shine team takes prayerful pride in cleaning, shining and otherwise keeping our sacred worship space in good clean order. The church is God’s house; a house of worship, prayer and praise. Keeping the church tidy brings reverence and respect to worship, and helps the Body of Christ focus on the Liturgical Celebrations.
Sacred Music team is made of coordinators who represent each of the music ministries. Each coordinators duty is to organize and prepare music ministers to serve at the Liturgical Celebrations. From children’s choirs, to bell choirs, to family choirs; this team assists the Body of Christ in worshiping God through music.
Advent and Christmas team uses liturgical materials to prepare and organize the liturgical celebrations that occur during Advent and Christmas. From the Advent Wreath, to the Crèche, to the Gifts of the Magi on Epiphany; this team brings the Body of Christ from Anticipation to Acclamation!
Lent and Easter team uses liturgical materials to prepare and organize the liturgical celebrations that occur during Lent and Easter. From Ash Wednesday, to the Passion, to the Resurrection; this team brings the Body of Christ from Sorrow to Salvation.
Ordinary Time team uses liturgical materials to prepare and organize the liturgical celebrations that occur during Ordinary time between Easter and Advent. The color for the Liturgical Season is Green the color of growth. From the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, to the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, to the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King; this team helps bring the Body of Christ from New Life to Fuller Life in Christ.
