At Fatima, Our Lady asked men and women of good will to pray for peace, especially through the Rosary and by greater devotion to her Immaculate Heart. Celebrating her appearances to three humble shepherd children, the Church continues its fervent prayers for a just and lasting peace throughout the world.

O God, who chose the Mother of your Son to be our Mother also,
grant us that, persevering in penance and prayer for the salvation of the world,
we may further more effectively each day the reign of Christ,
Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen
