June 21 is the Summer Solstice (sol, meaning sun, and sistere, meaning to stand still). Let us stand still in the presence of the true Light of the World - Jesus!
Feel free to bring family and friends to this reverent time of Eucharistic Adoration. Lawn chairs, blankets, garden kneelers, and sunscreen may also be helpful. If you have a lawn or patio shade maker to lend for this event, please contact the parish office in advance.
This unique opportunity also coincides with the beginning of the National Eucharistic Revival on the feast of Corpus Christi on June 19. Watch for more opportunities to immerse ourselves in the Eucharist through participation in the Mass, Adoration, and other special programs. You can also join with other Catholics around the country as we journey together to reignite true belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist!
