Fifty years ago, the mission parish of Saint Alphonsus Liguori, purchased land at West Oak street just outside the village in order to build a church to serve the growing number of families in their faith community.
On Saturday, November 17, the parish came together to celebrate the newly renovated facilities and the success of another milestone in our parish's history. One of the facilities was that original church built here 50 years prior.
A special dedication dinner celebrated those past 50 years. As part of the evening's celebration, this special video was shared.
Enjoy this short look back at the roots of Parish Hall as we look forward to all it, and our other newly updated facilities, can offer our families and ministries.
For an even further look back, here is a story about one of the first families to share their gifts of time, talent and treasure in order to establish the parish that St. Alphonsus Liguori is today. The Weitzel Family story
