Saint Alphonsus Liguori is excited to offer families an online giving option. The service can be used for weekly offerings, second collections, appeals, RE and Youth ministry enrollment. Plus, if you already shop or bank online, the new service should be a breeze to setup and maintain.
Online giving is provided through Our Sunday Visitor, the same company that handles the parish's envelope printing. Their service has proven to be very secure, efficient and successful for many Catholic parishes - including some within our own diocese!
The parish understands that online giving may not be the best option for every family; however, we invite those who already enjoy using such services to give it a try. Here is how it works:
Setup: Parishioners simply log into a secure online giving site and create a personal account. The user decides what they wish to give to, at what times and from what accounts. Giving features can be customized based on an individual's preferences and resources.
Enter Site
Giving: Gifts are automatically processed from either a credit card or bank account at times specified by the user. Gifts may be one time, or reoccurring with an automatic schedule set by the user.
Notifications: Email messages notify users before a gift is processed and to confirm the transaction. Additionally, users will receive monthly e-newsletters, in place of weekly envelopes, to announce second collections or ministry enrollment accessible at that time.
Changes to an account: Make changes at anytime to account information, contact information, gift amounts, or contribution dates wherever secure Internet access is available.
Tracking: Once a person begins giving online, they will be able to easily click and receive a report of their gifts for their own personal record keeping.
