New Music Ministries

There are some new and exciting music ministries starting up for younger parishioners.
Children's Choir: St. Alphonsus Liguori has recently become part of the affiliation of the Royal School of Church Music America. This exciting opportunity will help create an energetic and talented children's choir for young parishioners to make friends while developing a strong understanding of choral music. Children in grades 5 and 6 are welcome to participate. The choir will sing at the 10:30 a.m. twice a month, and rehearse on a weekday evening.

Fourth Day Youth Choir: Many youth retreats are three days long, and followed by an amazing spiritual energy on the “fourth day back.” This same energy can be brought back to the parish through the gift of music and shared at the 5 p.m. Mass with families and friends. Rehearsals take place on Sundays at 4 p.m. for high school and young adult participants.

Praise & Worship Ensemble: This ensemble seeks high school and young adult pianists, percussionists, guitarists, as well as woodwind, string and brass players. Musicians work with professional mentors, and lead music at the 5 p.m. Mass on dates that fit their schedules. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
