Ministries &amp; Summer Planning

Currently all campus buildings are accessible and in use as exterior work is being done where building expansions will occur. Below is special information for ministries to keep in mind as construction progresses.

Dates to remember (read below for more details):

April 9 - RE building entrance will be temporarily relocated to the door facing the church.
April 16 - Parish office entrance will be temporarily relocated to the northeast door facing the church (St. Robert room door).
May 4 - All ministry storage inside buildings must be cleaned and packed into parish storage units.
May 4 - Programming (except RE and Youth Ministry) inside Weitzel Hall, Parish Hall and the RE building ends until construction is complete.
September - Anticipated time for construction process to conclude.

Room availability: As the project continues ministries will not be able to hold functions or meetings inside Parish Hall, Weitzel Hall or the RE Building from May to the completion of the project. The only meeting spaces that will be available, but very limited, include the reception room inside the church and the St. Robert and St. Brigid rooms in the current parish office building. If a ministry needs to reserve one of these rooms, please contact the parish office at 873.2885.

Building entrances: Throughout the building process building entrances will be temporarily relocated until the renovated main entrances are complete. Here are current changes regarding entrances:

Religious Education building must be entered using the single door that faces the church and parking lot (on the east side of the building).
Parish Office building must be entered using the northeast door that faces the church beginning April 16.

Ministry storage: If a ministry has storage in any of the campus buildings (not including the church), those volunteers will have to speak with their parish staff liaison and plan to clean and pack any items that will be brought into the new spaces. All storage inside buildings needs to be packed and removed before Friday, May 4.

After construction - room reservations: Following the renovation process, ministries will be able to reserve meeting and event spaces once again. Currently, parish staff directors have been identifying locations for regular planned meetings of various ministries. During the summer, ministry volunteers will be informed where all new spaces are located and which will work best for different types of gatherings. Scheduling a room in the new facilities will be able to be done by request through an online reservation form, the parish secretary or a parish staff member. More information will be sent to ministries this summer to help inform everyone of these new spaces and resources.
