St. Alphonsus families and friends are welcome to enjoy a Friday evening praying the rosary together and then watching a captivating film.
Join others on Friday, October 26 in Weitzel Hall's Entry into Jerusalem room for this special event. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with prayer and then dives into a family-friendly movie with snacks for guests to enjoy.
The evening's film will be, The War of the Vendee, a movie that received the title, "Best film for Young Audiences," at an International Catholic Film Festival. The film company that produced the movie, Navis Pictures, is known for its amazing productions that casts all child actors. The movie's plot tells about the little known "civil war" that took place after the French Revolution and helped protect the Catholic faith and communities of that area.
Reminder: Also remember that Embrace Life welcomes you to participate in the 40 Days for Life prayer campaign that is taking place across the globe. Embrace Life is planning a parish hour from 3 - 4 p.m. each Sunday during the campaign. Members from the parish are welcome to join others outside the Planned Parenthood located at 86th Street and Georgetown Road in Indianapolis where peaceful prayers are being lifted by many from across Central Indiana. Vigils are held Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
