We are blessed to live in a community filled with many strong pro-life organizations that are faithfully making a difference in our world. Even at St. Alphonsus Liguori there is the Embrace Life Committee, a ministry of active volunteers and prayer warriors. From family friendly movie events to participating in 40 Days for Life, the ministry invites parishioners and their families to embrace life and pray for the protection of the unborn.

The Sunday Night Run for Life - Sunday, June 26 at Marian University
This family fun occasion will help promote and support the protection of life through an exciting community event. Join others from across Central Indiana at Marian University for a 5K run or 1 mile walk while enjoying food and refreshments. Presented by Right to Life Indianapolis, this is a race worth the run! Evening Reception with Abby Johnson - Thursday, July 21 at The Westin Hotel in Indianapolis
She rose up the ranks at Planned Parenthood to become a clinic director for an organization she was told supports women and their health. In 2009, Abby Johnson had a powerful conversion when she walked out of her clinic in Texas right across the street to a pro-life center. From then she has been leading efforts in pro-life movements while joining forces with 40 Days for Life to help save more women and babies from what she witnessed as a former clinic worker. Lila Rose at the Frassati Society Conference - Saturday, July 30 to Sunday, July 31 at St. Maria Goretti
The Frassati Society of Young Adult Catholics will have their annual conference for men and women ages 18 to 35 years old at Saint Maria Goretti in Westfield, Ind. This year's conference will include key speaker, Lila Rose, the young pro-life activist known for her work at uncovering unethical and unlawful work at Planned Parenthood clinics across the nation. Her findings have brought awareness to thousands while making waves in communities as well as Congress. Embrace Life Committee's Prayer Campaign - each month all year long!
St. Alphonsus Liguori's Embrace Life Committee encourages and invites families to pray together. One way is by the passing along of a special Our Lady of Guadalupe statue that parishioners and families take into their home each month as they offer to pray for a greater respect for all human life.
