Unlike the temperatures outside, competition is sure heating up as parishioners prepare for the St. Alphonsus Parish Chili Cook-off.
And what could be better during freezing wind and snow than a piping hot bowl of chili? That is exactly what the members of CRHP teams were thinking as they planned an epic eating event for Saturday, January 25.
Join the Christ Renews His Parish Continuation Committee in a fun chili cook-off. Any ministry, CRHP Team, family, or individual is invited to select their best chili recipe and bring a crock pot to share along with the bread, crackers, or toppings that add to the experience!
Everybody who attends will cast a vote for the “Best Parish Chili.” Drinks and desserts will be provided.
The event kicks off following the 5:30 p.m. Mass inside Parish Hall.
Previous Winners: Men’s Team #5 was the 2013 champion. Will they keep the title in 2014 or will another pot beat them out?
