Music missionary and Notre Dame graduate, Danielle Rose, has received a beautiful gift from God, and she is using it to glorify him, serve the poor and help lessen spiritual poverty throughout the world.
Recently, Danielle has been working to help bring awareness and support to the pro-life charity, China Little Flower. This organization cares for orphans in China who suffer from various illnesses, terminal illness, disabilities or abandonment. Its volunteers offer loving care to show the value of each human life and to build a culture that, "respects, protects, loves and serves life."
The Youth Ministry at Saint Alphonsus Liguori has invited Danielle Rose to the parish for a special family-friendly concert for everyone to enjoy her musical talents and learn more about China Little Flower. The concert will be free to attend with a free-will offering for those who would like to contribute to a special music project that Danielle is working on as she continues to build awareness and bring support to this charity.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 15 at 7 p.m. inside the church. Danielle will also have her previous albums available for those who may be interested in taking some of her music home or sharing it as a gift.

About Danielle Rose: Danielle Rose is a 2002 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she received bachelor degrees in music and theology. Her debut album, Defining Beauty, was released in 2001 when she was still an undergraduate, and since then she has produced three further albums as part of her work as a Catholic music missionary: the double-length Mysteries (2003), I Thirst (2006), and Pursue Me (2008). Whether ministering to one million people at World Youth Day in Spain or to twenty teenagers in her hometown of Duluth, Minnesota, Danielle has encouraged and challenged every soul to form a relationship with the Eucharistic Presence of Jesus through the heart of Mary. In late 2009, after more than two years of formation in the convent, Danielle and her community successfully discerned that the Lord was calling her to follow Him in a different way. The experiential journey of surrender and obedience taught her more deeply than ever that loving God and doing His will is more important than anything else. Now Danielle has joyfully accepted Jesus’ invitation to continue sharing His Song through her music for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
