Overview

This is a 9 hole golf league

Two person teams compete weekly against other teams
"A" player vs "A" player
"B" player vs "B" player
Team score vs team score

Your gross score is adjusted by handicap to get your net score

If you do not show, your score will be (3 strokes + your handicap) over par.

We play 13 regular season rounds (plus a final scramble/awards night)
An expected commitment would be to make at least 10 of the 13 weeks.
Provisions are made for make-up rounds.

Points (25 total each week)

Each player can earn 1 point per hole
Each player can earn 2 points for winning the individual match
Each team can earn 3 points for winning the team match
* You cannot win team points if neither of your players shows up.

Handicap

There is a formula in place to determine your handicap.
Basically it is how many strokes (on average) you shoot over par.
It is a rolling average of your last 3 scores.
